RV Living - Staying Organized

Updated: Feb 18, 2019

One thing that's SUPER important when you live in any tiny space is organization.

Let me say it louder for the people in the back - ORGANIZATION IS KEY!

We came in to the camper with some baskets/drawers and organization things from our brick & mortar home, but a lot of it we had to wait until we got moved in and lived in it for a hot minute to see what we really needed. That did not stop me from having a whole Pinterest board ready and an Amazon shopping cart full of my favorite things...but that's not the point. :)

One thing that we brought over from our brick & mortar were these adorable little drawers that we use to organize our medicine.

I took some scrapbook paper, a black sharpie and made some cute little labels to slide in the front of the drawers and BAM! Medicine organized. They're the perfect height for vitamin bottles to lay on their sides and it keeps everything nice and tidy.

We also love these baskets (who am I kidding? I love ALL baskets) for use in various places. I think there's one in the ottoman for the dog toys, one in the bedroom cabinet for all my perfumes and "girly stuffs," as Chelsea puts it, and possibly one somewhere else that I can't immediately place. They're super versatile and really handy to have around.

My last little organization hack for tiny living is stack n' snap boxes. Doesn't matter what size. These suckers are super handy! I've got four up in one of my cabinets all stacked together. Holding dog stuff (yes, they have more clothes than we do...), stuff I need to scrapbook from our honeymoon/wedding, and some other stuff that I can't remember right now.

Here's both of these in the same cabinet! That's 4 stack n' snap boxes and one of the larger baskets. :)

What are your favorite organizational tools? Please share away in the comments! My wife will hate it when I go on a buying spree :)
