Oh, The Places We've Been Wandering

So we've been radio silent for a while and I deeply apologize! We had no stable wifi until recently and have been able to upload anything. BOY! We've been basically across half of the U.S. in the last month-ish!

So, to start, we are no longer in Florida! We've been traveling all over, visiting family & friends across multiple states. We started went from Florida to Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico and then to Colorado. We stayed there for a month and visited friends, made new friends and saw lots of cool places! I'm going to post another blog with just all the cool stuff we did while there, but suffice it to say we were exhausted by the end of it and in awe of the beauty of the state.

Colorado was a vacation for us, but we also had another purpose - we were looking for a job. We applied everywhere we could think of and ended up accepting a job in Virginia! Now, we had booked the Colorado site until June 21 but we couldn't find a spot in VA until July 7. So we had to figure out what to do to fill those 16 days. We decided to make the most of it (and to avoid all crazy grades on roads) and made a really long road trip out of it. We crossed 8 states and stopped at 9 different campgrounds before making it to the one we'll be calling home for (hopefully) the next year. We spent 2 days in a few places (like Pennsylvania) and spent 6 days exploring Washington and all of the awesome museums there! It was a wild ride and we enjoyed the heck out of it, but we're super glad to be parked somewhere for a longer term stay.
